23/01/00: I'm feeling generous today, so after the big upload below I decided to add Syndicate Plus & Theme Park, both freshly ripped :-)
23/01/00: "Big" update today. Ultimate Doom is online in the Action section (thanks to Mark), Star Control 2 + Sound files misplaced under Adventure & Pagan: Ultima VIII in the RPG section!!!
23/01/00: A big welcome to James Francis who is going to be helping us out with reviews & games for the adventure section & to Mark Doherty, another reviewer uploader who has joined the Academy.
Notice: We need some "staff" for this site. If you are willing to give us some of your time and to help us out with reviews and updates for the site have a look here.
We at the Academy know that it isn't possible for everyone to upgrade their computers every week to be able to play the latest games and we are also aware that many of the older games, a number of which were actually far better than todays offerings, are no longer available. That leaves anyone without a Pentium 3 550mhz Voodoo 3 based system in a bit of a predicament. Thats where the Academy comes in. Here you will find many of your old favourites all available for free download. Bear in mind that you must delete the games within 24 hours of downloading if you don't own the original (if you have the original I have no idea why you'd want to download the same game, but hey - to each his own!)
This site best viewed @ 800 x 600, High Color with Internet Explorer 4.0 or above. It is recommended that you download this font to see the Academy in all it's glory.
